Financial Recovery Services at Cocktails for a Cure
Monday, April 25, 2011
Financial Recovery Services attended Cocktails for a Cure (CFAC) on Thursday, April 21st, 2011 at Legends in NYC. CFAC is a benefit to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York. The MS Research Center's mission is to conduct medical research directed toward finding the cause and eventual cure of multiple sclerosis. The Center's medical research is designed to understand all aspects of MS, including research at the cellular and molecular levels, in order to treat and cure MS.
CFAC was hosted by Dana Schwartz who is living with MS and Ryan Cohen, two very close friends of the FRS family. We had a great time raising money for a great cause, now in its fourth year and getting bigger and better every year. Last year CFAC raised $30,000 and the numbers aren't all in yet for this year but it's being estimated at around $40,000.
We posted some photos for everyone to view on the Financial Recovery Services, Facebook page with Dana and Ryan our hosts and Ottis Anderson, the NY Giants Superbowl XXV MVP.
We want to thank our hosts and everyone who showed their support and we're looking forward to next year.

Financial Recovery Services is now offering LED's to it's client base. The savings can be substantial and have a tremendous impact on Kwh. They make sense, save money and are also better for the environment. CFLs contain mercury. Below is a quote from the AT&T link included on this blog and it pretty much says it all.
One of the many ways included "familiar technologies that, pervasively applied, made a big difference, like: Swapping incandescent light bulbs with light emitting diodes (LEDs) at 1,100 cell sites."
